Organizada en 1916, NCBA CLUSA tiene m\u00e1s de 70 a\u00f1os de experiencia en Desarrollo Internacional y Cooperativo, hemos trabajado con comunidades en cerca de 90 pa\u00edses alrededor del mundo. Actualmente realizamos actividades en pa\u00edses de \u00c1frica, Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Sudeste Asi\u00e1tico. construyendo comunidades resilientes, creando oportunidades econ\u00f3micas y fortaleciendo las cooperativas. Nuestro trabajo empodera a los peque\u00f1os agricultores, empresarios, las mujeres y los j\u00f3venes a avanzar en la seguridad alimentaria, agricultura basada en la nutrici\u00f3n, agricultura clim\u00e1ticamente inteligente, desarrollo de mercados, gesti\u00f3n de recursos naturales, desarrollo juvenil positivo, igualdad de g\u00e9nero y entornos regulatorios propicios.<\/p>

Somos socios implementadores de proyectos de desarrollo con la Agencia de los Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional – USAID y el Departamento de Agricultura de los Estados Unidos – USDA. En Guatemala, hemos venido ejecutando proyectos en el Altiplano del pa\u00eds (Huehuetenango, Quetzaltenango, Quich\u00e9, San Marcos, Solol\u00e1, Totonicap\u00e1n), atendiendo necesidades locales a nivel comunitario que faciliten el desarrollo sostenible econ\u00f3mico y social, incluyendo mecanismos financieros con enfoque territorial, trabajo asociativo y cooperativo, agricultura sensible a la nutrici\u00f3n, g\u00e9nero e inclusi\u00f3n social, creaci\u00f3n de capacidades, articulaci\u00f3n y desarrollo de emprendimientos y negocios, entre otros.<\/p>

It is a non-profit foundation with a national and international focus, which since 1944 promotes community, economic and social development through cooperative companies. CDF provides grants for various areas within which we can highlight training scholarships for cooperative members and funding for research; as well as technical assistance and education, to promote a better understanding of how cooperativism works, and create sustainable cooperatives.<\/p>
